  2.                         WORKBENCH 2.0 COMPATIBILITY

  4. SECRETARY Version 1.0 is functionally compatible with WorkBench 2.0 as of 
  5. the latest release.  There does, however, appear to be some difference in
  6. the way in which this new release handles the display of Intuition String
  7. Gadgets.  For this reason we have provided a second SECRETARY program on
  8. the distribution disk called '2.0SECRETARY1.0' which has the modifications
  9. necessary for Workbench 2.0.

  11. Both versions of the program will function correctly under either WorkBench
  12. environment.  If you are primarily running under the new release you should
  13. rename the file '2.0SECRETARY1.0' to 'SECRETARY1.0' ON A COPY OF THE
  14. RELEASE DISKETTE.  This will give you an improved look to the screen
  15. display while running under Workbench 2.0.

  17. Future releases of SECRETARY will continue to be sensitive to the
  18. compatibility issues between different versions of Workbench.
